Of all the things we purchase this year, what will mean the most to you ten years from now? Whether its a child, relative, pet, or special place; a moment, artistically captured, is for generations to enjoy. An oil portrait of your loved ones will become an heirloom and grow more precious with time. A portrait speaks of your interest in the finer things and is an enduring gift. My objective is to create special works of art for those who share this concept of lasting value.
My style is old world realism, yet my technique can be impressionistic or modern. Being a professional, specializing in custom oil portraits, I have done commissions for many families throughout the country. I work from photographs that I have taken or from photographs that you can send. I can guarantee a likeness to the photo and I can make significant changes to enhance the results.
I determine the portrait price according to the involvement and clarity of the subjects in the photographs. The prices in the price list below are the maximum prices and can vary as much as 50% depending on the time involvement for each specific commission. Discounts are also given for multiple commissions. A portrait will take three to six months to complete upon receiving the photographs, but it does vary according to the individual portrait or other commitments.
